What is needed for a new release:
- a working installer
- working plx conversion
Installer
We have had our first requests for Windows 8 support, and Office 2013 support (but Office 2013 is working fine under Windows 7).
DONE:
- Børre started reading NSIS documentation
TODO:
- find an outsourcing option (Børre, Sjur)
- next week: try updating NSIS ourselves (Børre, Sjur)
- using Tino's documentation & old docu's from PLX
- using Tino's documentation & old docu's from PLX
- send a request to an NSIS developer e-mail list (Sjur)
- try to find an NSIS script for building MSI packages (Børre)
- add Windows 8 support to our installer (if possible)
PLX conversion
The last SME speller has huge improvements compared to all spellers from the last couple of years. There are still bugs to solve, but this does not seem close to impossible any more, quite the contrary.
DONE:
- the hyphenation fix solved most issues!
- sit down and look thoroughly at the remaining PLX issues
TODO:
- solve the remaining PLX bugs one by one (Tomi)
